- Instantly. Veraprint designs are digital files: the download is ready the moment you pay, in every IKEA frame size, and gifts are emailed to the recipient right away. Print it at home or at any photo lab.
- What file do I receive?
- You can download the design as a print-ready PNG sized for your IKEA frame: 5x7, 8x10, 12x16, 16x20 or 19¾x27½ (50x70 cm), at 150 to 300 DPI depending on the size. Print it at home or at any photo lab.
- Do you sell frames?
- No. Veraprint does not sell frames. Every print size fits a frame you can buy yourself at IKEA; we only suggest which one. For example, an 8x10 print fits IKEA FISKBO, HÄCKHAGTORN and KNOPPÄNG 8x10 frames, or the mat of an IKEA KNOPPÄNG 12x16. The Veraprint frames page lists every current IKEA frame that fits each size.
- Which IKEA frames fit a Veraprint print?
- 5x7: IKEA YLLEVAD, FISKBO and HÄCKHAGTORN 5x7 frames, or the mat of an IKEA KNOPPÄNG 8x10. 8x10: IKEA FISKBO, HÄCKHAGTORN and KNOPPÄNG 8x10 frames, or the mat of an IKEA KNOPPÄNG 12x16. 12x16: IKEA HÄCKHAGTORN, FISKBO and KNOPPÄNG 12x16 frames, or the mat of an IKEA KNOPPÄNG 16x20. 16x20: IKEA FISKBO, HÄCKHAGTORN and KNOPPÄNG 16x20 frames. 19¾x27½ (50x70 cm): IKEA FISKBO, KNOPPÄNG and RÖDALM 19¾x27½ frames, or the mat of an IKEA KNOPPÄNG 24x35¾. - Is anything shipped?
- No. Veraprint sells digital files only, so there is no shipping and no waiting. Print the file at home, at a photo lab, or at a print shop.
- Can I send a star map as a gift?
- Yes. Turn on the gift option and Veraprint emails the recipient your message and a link to download the print, or you can download it and give it yourself.
- Is the star map accurate?
- Yes. The sky is computed for your place, date and time from the Hipparcos star catalogue (about 5,000 stars, down to what the eye can see on a dark night) with the constellation lines, using the local time zone of the place, daylight saving time included. The chart shows the sky as you would see it looking up: North at the top, East on the left. The Moon and planets are not shown.
- Can I make a star map for any place?
- Yes. Type any city or address and press Find; the place, its coordinates and its time zone are filled in for you. Places come from OpenStreetMap.
- Can I change the font and colors?
- Yes. Every design offers 4 fonts (Classic, Elegant, Modern, Script) and 5 color themes, with a live preview before you pay.
